 Undergraduate Summary of Biology Degree Requirements         

Biology Bachelor of Science Degree
Programs allow students to develop a broad field of study or focus in a specific area Biology Students take an array of advanced courses that enable them to build an interest into a strength.

The Secondary Teaching Emphasis meets the requirements for Washington state teaching endorsement in Biology. Adding Geol 211 & 212 provides the student with an additional endorsement in General Science.

Biology Bachelor of Arts Degree
Program allows students to combine another discipline with Biology i.e. Art, Computer Science, English, Journalism, Political Science, PE, Psychology, or Sociology
Biology Interdisciplinary and Combined Major Degrees
Program that officially combines another discipline with Biology to form a degree program.

Biology/Chemistry BA in Education meets the requirements for Washington state teaching endorsements in both biology and chemistry. Completion of Geol 211 and 212 would provide the student with an additional endorsement in General Science.

Biology Minor
Program allows students an organized way to take Biology classes that complement their major.
Masters Degree
Program allows students to take a variety of graduate level courses while pursuing their thesis work in a specific area.
