Kim provides advising information for high school students and parents
as well as transfer students who are interested in the Biology program.
She also advises new Biology majors, and tracks the progress of
Biology majors, assists with course scheduling, analyzes data from the

Mary Ann Merrill
Administrative Service Manager

Mary Ann is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing, co-
ordinating and controlling all administrative services for the Biology
Department. She assists the Chair of the Department with a variety of
administrative services. She is responsible for funds management,
budget planning, personnel administration and staff supervision.
She assists the Graduate Program Advisor with management of
applications, hiring of graduate teaching assistants, and administrative
issues related to graduate students.

Jeannie Gilbert

Jeannie provides general classroom and laboratory support for the
non-majors Introductory Biology, Intro. to Ecology, Evolution
and Biodiversity, Intro. Organismal Biology, and several upper-division
courses in ecology and organismal biology. Additionally, Jeannie
maintains the greenhouse, live animals, and the departmental
vertebrate collection.
