Peter Thut- Peter is the stockroom supervisor and safety officer. He acts as liaison to Facilities, SciTech, and other departments on campus. Faculty and graduate student researchers come to Peter for assistance procuring equipment, supplies, and lab space for their work.  Questions about safe lab practices, keys, lab computers, hazardous waste, lab room use, printers, and shared equipment should be directed to Peter. He also does his best to act as back-up when the other lab techs are not available.

In his off hours Peter is usually spending time with his two daughters and enjoying a placid Bellingham lifestyle.

Jeannie Gilbert - She works with most of the organismal courses, takes care of the greenhouse, aquaria, and the aquaria spaces.   If you need to keep marine organisms in the building for your research or class, she can suggest where and how.   She can help you with field equipment checkout and training and can help you with what other resources may be available on campus.   If you need to use a powerpoint cart (laser projector, and computer) for a lab or lecture she can explain the request process.  She also coordinates reservations for laptop carts, powerpoint carts, and the van.

In her off hours she enjoys riding her Harley trike, belonging to the local H.O.G. group and working with several non-profit organizations.

Kendra

Kendra Bradford - Kendra supports molecular biology and microbiology labs.  This includes involvement in maintaining lab manuals, TA meetings, purchasing, troubleshooting, maintaining living organisms and setting up laboratory experiments.  She is available to train students in handling hazardous waste and using equipment such as incubators, autoclaves, bio-safety cabinets, microscopes and spectrophotometers.

Kendra is also co-owner of Gato Verde Adventure Sailing.  She spends her summers with her family playing on land and sea.
